Just wanted to throw out a suggestion for that last ask you got... it's not a regular show, but the Big Fat Quizzes of the Year are all pretty good. Ten episodes, each about 90 minutes long, and plenty of Jimmy Carr goodness!

I need some new panel shows to watch, and I'm trying to get in to 8oo10c. But I've watched an episode, and usually ones I like grab my interest right away. This one's not. Do you think it's an acquired taste, or do I just need to watch a bit more? I'm already a fan of Jimmy Carr and Jon Richardson, but that doesn't seem to be helping.

Hmm, well I suppose it’s different for everyone. I loved it right away, but maybe it just hasn’t drawn you in yet. I wasn’t a very big fan of QI when I first started watching it, but now I love it. I recommend watching a couple more (try the Jedward episodes, they’re hysterical), and see if that helps get you into it. Hope this helps!
